Delray Beach’s First Night 2013 ® promises a fun filled evening for families providing performances and activities at 21 indoor and outdoor venues located throughout the downtown area on New Year’s Eve. This signature Delray Beach event is the area’s largest New Years Eve celebration, attracting thousands of families from throughout the region. The daylong festival runs from 4 pm to midnight on December 31. In addition to the broad range of music, dance, theater, visual art, and film programs offered, First Night’s activities range from arts and crafts to obstacle courses, face painting to Improv Theater, carousels to ice skating, and dancers to magicians. Visitors can expect a full day full of fun, prizes, food, and music. The festivities begin at 4pm with performances and activities and ends with exciting New Years finales at both 9pm and midnight.

-Son of Man at the Delray Beach Center for the Arts Outdoor Pavilion
-Improv by Take Heed Theatre at the Crest Theatre

First Night Buttons, which will serve as admittance to all First Night activities and venues, can be purchased for $10 in advance and $15 on New Year's Eve (Monday, December 31st). Buttons are available for purchase at the Famous 100 Foot Christmas Tree, the Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce, City Hall, Delray Beach Public Library, Delray News and Tobacco and Old School Square. Please be aware that New Year’s Eve falls on a Monday this year so several button sales venues will be closed on December 29th and 30th. To get the best price, buy your button early.
Ticket Sale locations on Saturday and Sunday, December 29th and 30th:
- 100 Ft Christmas Tree from 1pm - 10pm. Credit cards are accepted at this location. Buttons are $10 before Dec 31st. After the Tree closes at 10pm on December 30th buttons will be available for sale for $15 starting at 10am on Dec 31st.

Buttons will also be sold on the day of the event (Dec 31st) at the 100 Ft Christmas Tree from 10am until midnight for $15. Button sales will also be available at tents at the Tennis Center parking lot (6pm-midnight), the 300 block (4:30pm-10pm) and 600 block (3:30pm - 9pm) of Atlantic Avenue.
