Elements that affect the viewer can be as simple as shapes, colors, theme and or layers of interest. For without the first layer of a layer cake what does the baker build on? The same applies to a painting. The underpainting is key to building a good painting. Whether a beginner or experienced painter all are invited to participate in developing and enhancing your creative Abstract Toolbox. We will explore all aspects of painting from monochromatic to fluorescent, from gesture to texture, from negative space to paintings full of movement. We will experiment with mixed media compositions, various gels and mediums.
